Japan vs. Canada: Philippine International Pyromusical Competition 2011

It doesn’t require to celebrate new year to see a beautiful firework display because even every weekends you can watch it in Mall of Asia. But this February to early week of March, Mall of Asia is hosting the Philippine International Pyromusical Competition 2011.

I was lucky enough to watch this last Saturday, Thanks to Sir Melo of outoftownblog.com and Miguel for the invitation and warm accommodation. I was able to met new bloggers as well. Even if it was drizzling that time, I did’nt stop the public to witness the battle between Japan and Canada. With its beautiful music like Doraemon theme song and “What A Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong combined with spectacular pyrotechnics, I can say that Japan was well-applauded by everyone. I cannot count the number of times the public expresses their appreciation through claps and “wows”. And also, that was my first time to see a heart-shaped lights in the night sky. On the other hand, Canada didn’t receive much “amazement” from the public, though the choice of music was kind of melo and romantic.
